A hearth on the St Fergus fuel terminal which led to manufacturing being briefly shut down was brought on by a chicken nest.
The blaze broke out on the Scottish Area Gas Evacuation (Sage) terminal in Aberdeenshire at round 10:30 on Monday 8 April.
Terminal operator Wood stated the nest had precipitated a small fireplace, which was extinguished by an on-site fireplace crew.
There have been no accidents and operations re-started after security checks.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service stated it despatched 4 home equipment and different specialist items and inspected the location with a thermal picture digital camera.
A spokesperson for Wood stated: “All personnel on the location remained secure all through and related emergency providers attended the terminal as a precaution.
“Production was briefly paused whereas acceptable security checks have been carried out and the location promptly returned to full operation.”
