If you wish to motivate birds to hang out in your garden, you require to provide a good factor to remain. There are a lot of choices for bird feeders out there, however why not make your own utilizing things you have at home? Follow these simple actions and make your own bird feeder in a jiffy!

What you will require

1. Apply a generous line of glue to the teacup on the side that’s straight opposite the manage, beginning with the top (rim) and ending at the bottom of the ‘foot’. Then, holding the teacup by the manage, push the cup down into the dish. Depending on the adhesive, you might require to hold the cup in location for a couple of minutes while the glue sets. Make sure the cup is located towards the back half of the dish so there is room for the birdseed to spill out from the cup.

2. Once the glue is dry, your bird feeder is prepared to hang. This can take about an hour or more. Then, hold the teacup by the manage. If the dish hangs flat, then merely connect a piece of twine around the manage and hang it from a tree or a bird feeder wall mount. However, if you select the teacup up by the manage and the dish is somewhat tipped, follow the next couple of actions.

3. Cut 3 pieces of twine, about 60cm long each. Knot the 3 hairs together at one end, then glue the knot onto the bottom of the dish, in the middle. Spread out the hairs a little prior to gluing the knot down.

4. Pull all 3 hairs out to the sides of the dish, ensuring they are as uniformly spaced as possible. Glue these hairs down near the rim to make sure that your feeder doesn’t slip out of its ‘hanger’. Allow it to dry.

5. Once you’re positive that the glue on the dish is totally dry, take the 3 hairs of twine and collect them above the teacup. Adjust the 3 hairs up until the dish hangs completely level, then connect the 3 hairs together in a knot above the teacup.

6. Find a peaceful area for your homemade bird feeder in the garden. Hang it from a tree or a bird feeder wall mount, then include some birdseed. The birds will be enjoying your brand-new development in no time!
