The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office revealed the arrest of a man who was desired for breaking into a Lake Worth home and taking over $10,000 worth of Conure birds.
Deputies said the victim looked out to a man captured on monitoring electronic camera inside her home. Once the lady returned home, she discovered 69 of her bird cages cleared out and the birds gone.
According to a cops report, the lady had 20 cockatoos, 10 infant cockatoos, 4 parakeets, 15 canaries, and 20 pigeons.
The monitoring video reveals a man using a camouflage coat and a black hat going into the home at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday with a big knife strapped to his side. Moments later on, the very same man appears once again at 9:35 a.m. using a blue hoodie, and his face exposed simply a little, the report said.
Deputies had the ability to determine the suspect as Damian Ramallo. After media protection of the theft, the suspect started disposing the birds in the garbage, which accentuated him.
