Subsidized pet-care occasions to use spay & neuter, vaccine services in Lebanon Co.

Lebanon County will be the website of 2 subsidized healthcare occasions for animals in late April.

No Nonsense Neutering will offer low-cost spay and sterilize services for cats, while the Rotary Club of Palmyra will sponsor an animal vaccination center.

On Wednesday, April 26, No Nonsense Neutering will hold a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) occasion at Jackson Recreational Park, 41 S. Fairlane Ave., Myerstown. The occasion is open for both family pet and neighborhood cats, however registration is needed.

Participants can register at www.nnnlv.org by clicking “Cat Transport 2023” and following the registration directions.

Community cat spaying or neutering expenses $40 per cat and consists of surgical treatment, a rabies vaccine, a distemper vaccine for cats one year or younger, left ear notch, and treatments for ear termites, fleas, and worms. The TNR program assists manage the feral cat population by trapping, neutering, and immunizing the cats prior to returning them to their initial place.

On Saturday, April 29, from 9 to 11 a.m., the Rotary Club of Palmyra will sponsor an animal vaccination center at the Sinkhole Saloon’s East Patio in Palmyra.
