OLD CREATE — The public is welcomed to attempt a complimentary session of noise recovery with accredited noise recovery professional Andrea Lisette Villiere at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, at the Old Forge Library, 220 Crosby Blvd.
Registered guests will unwind and revitalize with Tibetan recovery bowls. Villiere will develop a soundscape developed to restore, with noises that transfer and bring concerns away.
“These sound healings usually run $60, but because we are a library, we can offer them for free,” said library director Linda Weal. “We are great about giving equal access to all.”
Sound recovery utilizes the power of noise to bring back one’s mind, body, and spirit to a state of balance. The harmonic vibrations from the instruments produce acoustic waves that have a deep, permeating impact on the receiver, promoting recovery and wellness.
Villiere has more than 300 hours of training, is totally committed to advancing her research studies, and continues to develop her recovery practice. She has actually been using sound baths and sharing her enthusiasm for noise recovery given that 2015.
She received her training at the Sage Academy of Sound Energy, the BioSonic Academy of Music and Sound Healing, and the Omega Institute. Villiere currently resides in Old Forge.
Space is restricted. Although there is no cost, registration is needed. Please call the library at 315-369-6008 or e-mail [email protected] to book a space.
