A couple weeks back, I published an eyewitness account of a mountain lion or cougar sighting in New Jersey.
Soon after, another report of an animal. This report from Mantua, New Jersey even consisted of images of what the witness believes was a mountain lion cub.
These are simply the latest of a variety of stories I’ve edited the last number of years, triggered by sightings reported by citizens throughout the Garden State. You can take a look at many of these stories here.
Now, we have an animal report – and picture – from a citizen in Eatontown, New Jersey.
Our witness, we’ll determine her as “C”, says she took this picture last Monday, July 31st, in her yard in Eatontown.
“I was taking a picture of the deer. Afterward, I went to inspect my picture and I saw a huge animal in the background. It’s absolutely not a fox… and if it was a dog it would have gone after the other deer it need to have been stalking this deer. At first believed it may be a coyote now I’m believing a mountain lion.”
