An Illinois gasoline station became a scene from a wild west film when shooting began in broad daytime after a man was obviously cut off in the car park.

Report of shots fired at Rockford corner store

According to journalism release from the Rockford Police Department, officers reacted to the Stop N Go on Charles Street on Friday afternoon (3/31) around 1:10 pm for a report of shots fired.

When they showed up on the scene, RPD was informed that a man driving a box truck took out of the c-store in front of a white van, and a man inside the van started to fire on the truck striking it in the front guest windows and door.

Later on Friday night (3/31), officers from the Rockford Police Department situated the van and performed a vehicle stop around 11:05 pm in the location of N. Church and Napoleon Streets.
