1) This basic licence is released in accordance with:

  • paragraphs 11 and 14 of Schedule 4 and paragraph 8 of Schedule 5 of the Order in England and Wales
  • paragraphs 11 and 15 of Schedule 4 and paragraph 9 of Schedule 5 of the Order in Scotland

2) This licence allows, based on the connected Schedule of Conditions, the motion of samples drawn from carcases from properties within the Security Zone to a lab or veterinary surgical treatment for diagnostic screening or examination.

3) This licence allows, based on the connected Schedule of Conditions, the motion of faeces and faecal samples from live poultry or other captive birds from properties within a Security Zone or Monitoring Zone to a lab or veterinary surgical treatment for diagnostic screening or examination.

This licence stands from 16.30 on the 14 November 2022 and the licence EXD415( HPAI)( GB) that entered force at 11:00 on 3 March 2022 is thus withdrawed.

Schedule of Licence Conditions

1) Samples drawn from carcases of poultry or other captive birds should be moved straight from the properties in the Security Zone to the getting properties for screening or examination.

2) This licence should not be utilized for the motion of entire dead birds from properties in the Security Zone to veterinary surgical treatments or labs for diagnostic screening or examination.
