From December 28 to December 30, locals are welcomed to take part in the “Riga-Kyiv” contribution share, with food, family and health items, in addition to pet food.
Needed contributions:
- food– canned food, sugar, oil, buckwheat, barley, pasta, corn, sugary foods, nuts, dried fruit, dried bread, milk powder, immediate coffee, tea, immediate meals (porridge, soups, and so on), drinking water, infant food. Foodstuff ought to have a life span of a minimum of 6 months.
- health items– kids’s and grownups’ nappies, tooth paste, tooth brushes, shower gel, soap, hand creams, bathroom tissue, kid pads and damp wipes. There is likewise a requirement for kids’s clothes and shoes.
- pet food — kibble, canned food, care devices (beds, litter, and so on).
- medical items: plasters, tourniquets, spots, disinfectants, bactericides, medical gloves.
- other things are required: blankets, bed mattress, sleeping bags, heating systems, battery chargers, generators.
Contributions can be provided to the following areas at the provided schedule:
- December 28 from 15:00 up until 20:00 in Rātslaukums;
- December 29 from 15:00 to 20:00 at the entryway of the mall AKROPOLE Alfa;
- December 30 from 12:00 to 20:00 at the Spice mall.
Contributions can likewise be provided to the culture center Imanta (Anniņmuižas boulevard 29), in addition to the area citizen centers: E. Smiļģa Street 46, Gobas Street 6a, Ieriķu Street 43a, Daugavpils Street 31, or Ziemeļblāzmas Street 36.
Those who do not have the chance to bring their own contributions are welcomed to contribute to the cause on Ziedot.lv at ziedot.lv/ 10-autobusi-kijivai-4437. The contributions got will help to buy those things that will be missing out on when buses are filled.
Buses with contributions will go to Kyiv in mid-January.
