When I last left you on my last entry about the renovations NJ and I have actually made to my foyer, we were mainly completed spackling.
Now, good reader, on to sequel. I actually believed we may be done after this one, however…. well. I believe anyone who understands how do it yourself goes understands that making strategies is all well and good, however those strategies WILL be interfered with.
But, NJ and I were non-deterred. Onwards we entered into the fray of the foyer! He came down on Saturday, we had a good lunch with my Dad, my Sister and her spouse, and after that we returned to get stuck in. We didn’t emerge for thirteen hours. Here’s what took place.
Damage It Myself Part Two
So essentially, hold for part 3, I think. Apart from all the dang woodwork I need to do, I need to get some various drapes. And we likewise need to complete the ceiling (it’s been spackled, not painted). And I’m sure there will be retouch as needed to the primary paint job and accent wall, and so on and so on. That’s not even touching what will be required to do for the living-room, dining-room, bed room, kitchen area, visitor bed room. And then the exterior. The deck, the deck, the garage, the yard…. I’m tired simply typing that out.
So, we’re gonna take a break for a number of weeks. We’re going to Wurstfest this weekend, so remain tuned for that a person in a future short article (very first time I’ve ever been!). And then there’s another weekend where we need to do something at his home town, so perhaps by the 2nd week of April or so we may get to Part Three of our DO IT YOURSELF Misadventures.
Pray for me.
Just joking! Feel totally free though, to send me some pointers or techniques or simply experiences you have with do it yourself. I’d enjoy to sympathize about ’em!
Paintingly yours,
Behka
