This is the terrifying moment a driver overtook a tractor on a blind corner, forcing oncoming cars to crash into a grass verge.

A silver Toyota Yaris, on the B4348 in Herefordshire, pulled out to the side of the farm vehicle to try and get past – despite not being able to see what was coming.

An oncoming car, recording footage on its dashcam, filmed the car trying to move as close to the tractor as possible in August this year.

Thankfully the driver, Andrew Crosby, was able to swerve onto the grass verge in time to avoid a high-speed collision.

He could even be heard gasping as he quickly braked and moved to the left.

Andrew told the MailOnline: ‘I’m baffled as to how anyone could be stupid enough to take such a risk.

‘I was lucky I was able to scrub enough speed to give me the option of running on to the verge to avoid a collision.’

Police were not called as there were no injuries or damage to the vehicles.

A dog was recently filmed crashing its owner’s car after jumping into the driver’s seat and knocking the gear sticks into neutral.

The car was sent rolling down the drive, hitting more cars as it slowly moved down the road.

Owner Shaun said: ‘It caused a lot of rear damage to my car – the rear quarter was damaged and it was pushed into the wall.

‘I just hope the dog is a named driver, but if the car insurance won’t do it then the pet insurance might.

‘Me and my partner were in hysterics laughing – it’s an old car so we weren’t too bothered about the damage.’
