RSPCA officers in Merseyside state the dog was discovered bound to a tree in remote forests in freezing cold temperature levels and was waiting to be discovered prior to its death
A dog had actually been discovered dead after being left alone in a remote forest to pass away.
The lonesome canine was discovered recently after being bound to a tree in a remote part of Barrow Hill, Derbyshire, in sub-zero temperature levels.
It is thought the dog, who was referred to as a grey and white XL bully-type, lived at the time he was bound.
However, the dog regretfully caught the freezing -5C temperature levels and passed away, whilst waiting to be discovered.
The animal charity RSPCA looked out and is now appealing for any details on the dog’s previous owners.
Although the family pet was microchipped, the signed up address doesn’t exist and the mobile number doesn’t work.
RSPCA inspector Thea Kerrison said it was “heartbreaking” to become aware of his lonesome death.
She included: “The location where he was abandoned is remote and he was connected to a tree which wasn’t near a path – so whoever did this terrible act most likely did so with the objective of the dog not being discovered.
“He was discovered resting on his side as though he had actually gone to sleep. It was so cold on the day he was discovered – temperature levels were -5C. It is excruciating to believe how frightened he needs to have actually been.
“The dog was microchipped and we have made queries; nevertheless the address on the chip doesn’t exist and the mobile number doesn’t work. But whoever abandoned the dog needs to be somebody regional to understand of this remote location.”
