A robotic dog geared up with a grenade launcher that seems a customized Chinese robotic animal has actually been revealed at a Russian arms exposition.
Russian-state owned news firm RIA Novosti shared a video of the RPG-bearing robotic dog, shot at Russia’s yearly Army-2022 global arms exposition on Monday.
The news firm reported that the device, called the M-81, can shooting and transferring weapons, along with providing medication and materials to front-line soldiers.
Despite being covered in black fabric, the positioning of the robotic’s sensing units and its total frame looked like that of a G01 consumer-grade robotic offered by Chinese producer Unitree Robotics.
It is available for sale through online markets like AliExpress for around £350, marketed as a “light and compact” buddy robotic.
“The human-machine interaction is both harmonious and safe,” Unitree’s website states.
