A pig named Snoop Hogg has develop into a preferred resident at a Pennsylvania animal rescue — and now he is searching for a without end home.

The Sanctuary at Haafsville’s canine care supervisor, Jayne Anne Bissell, tells PEOPLE she noticed the 6-month-old pig throughout a visit to Philadelphia.

Snoop Hogg had been taken in by the Animal Care and Control Team of Philadelphia (ACCT Philly) after somebody discovered the pig wandering the streets of Philadelphia. Bissell introduced the pig again to Sanctuary at Haafsville in Breinigsville almost six weeks in the past — usually, the rescue cares for canines and cats — and says he is “doing incredible now.”

“He’s all healed up,” she says. “His pores and skin is obvious. He was handled for mange [a skin disease caused by parasitic mites]. He had an eye fixed an infection that was cleared up, and he was neutered. He had all his vaccines and was frightened, so he’s dwelling the life now. He’s very wholesome and joyful now. He’s gained loads of weight.”

Snoop Hogg additionally bought assist from a neighborhood baseball staff, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, who donated $750 to his medical care. Bissell says the staff reached out after the Sanctuary of Haafsville shared pictures of Snoop on social media.

Bissell says Snoop’s future pet father or mother needs to be ready for him to develop to about 100 lbs.
