Tipperary County Council is being criticised for under approving 13 out of 68 purposes for home loans this 12 months.
The native authority may give the loans to individuals who haven’t been accepted by the banks for a mortgage.
Management are warning it’s a sophisticated course of to get approval over the road and extra of the 68 could also be finalised in time.
But Cllr Joe Hannigan says the council have to do extra to assist potential homebuyers get by the system.
The Independent consultant says the native authorities home loans are tougher to get than a mortgage from an everyday financial institution.
Cllr Hannigan says these figures are too low and he’s asking for the existence of the loans to be marketed higher together with higher info on what’s required to get them over the road.
