An American XL bully canine has been discovered useless after it was believed to have been thrown from a bridge in Sheffield.
The RSPCA has launched an investigation after the muzzled black and white feminine canine was discovered by a walker beneath the A57 flyover close to Beighton.
The animal welfare charity believes the canine had not been useless lengthy when it was discovered shortly earlier than 11:00 GMT on 22 January.
RSPCA inspector Kristy Ludlam mentioned it was a “very callous and sickening act”.
She mentioned she believed the canine had been alive when thrown, including: “From the accidents sustained and the situation the place she was discovered, it seems that the poor canine was thrown from the flyover and died attributable to blunt power trauma accidents as she hit the bottom.”
The space the place the canine was discovered is named the Washlands and is common with canine walkers.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who could have footage is requested to contact the RSPCA.
Ms Ludlam mentioned: “There are huge limitations so it might have been fairly troublesome for a canine to leap over there herself so it does look very suspicious.
