A 60-year-old lady was mauled by her personal XL bully canine, which escaped after which needed to be destroyed, within the latest attack involving the breed.

Police have been known as to Brisley in Norfolk shortly earlier than 3pm on Monday after a member of the general public reported {that a} lady was being attacked by an XL bully canine within the again backyard of her property in Gately Road and was screaming for assist.

Officers arrived on the scene to seek out the lady being mauled by her pet canine.

She acquired a number of accidents within the attack and was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for therapy.

Her accidents weren’t life-threatening.

The canine, which escaped from the property following the attack, was discovered by officers in School Road shortly after the incident.

“In the pursuits of public security and on the request of the proprietor, the canine was humanely destroyed.”

The latest incident comes because the Government appears to be like to ban American XL bully dogs in response to a sequence of assaults.
