WE tried out Glasgow’s new canine park with a hyper puppy, a lazy English Bulldog and two Yorkies – and we are able to’t wait to return.

Ahead of the much-anticipated opening on Saturday afternoon, we headed all the way down to Unleash the Dog’s new web site at Arkleston Road with a beloved staff of 4 furry buddies.

We beforehand reported that the enclosed park, located in Hillington, and on the outskirts of Paisley and Renfrew, spans 1.5 acres, and is an ideal location for dog owners.

Obstacle and agility gear consists of tyres for leaping by means of, a boardwalk, slalom poles, ramps and extra.

For Winston (the English Bulldog), it was apparent from the get-go he wouldn’t be leaping by means of any hoops (or tyres on this case) – not even for his favorite treats.

He spends most of his time sleeping in his mattress, on the sofa, the ground – wherever he can actually, so train shouldn’t be up his road.

He largely enjoys the (brief) walks he will get day-after-day, however typically pretends to be asleep to keep away from being dragged off the sofa (particularly if it’s raining).

But surprisingly he gave many of the gear a go – after being tempted by treats. He additionally loved having an enormous secure area to be off his lead and wander about together with his ball.

Alfie, a nine-month-old Shih Tzu, alternatively, made full use of all agility gear, together with Mia and Mac, each six.

All 4 of our furry buddies bought a superb run about, with out having to fret about different dogs being round.

There had been bowls of consuming water available for the dogs – which was properly wanted after tiring themselves out.

Despite being the final day in September, we bought fortunate with the climate. It stayed dry all through our go to, however residing in Glasgow, we all know that all the time gained’t be the case.

Thankfully, the staff took the unpredictable climate into consideration when planning the brand new park and a shelter was a vital.

We totally loved our go to to Unleash the Dogs and are wanting ahead to going again.
