Zara-lea Field, 22, was influenced to produce her painting after talking with Cats Protection’s Operations Manager, Vicki Small, about their shared love of felines.
An art and style graduate, Zara produced the striking painting at a live occasion where an audience saw her vision come to life.
Her work can bring up to £400 a piece.

Zara said: “One of my female cats which we rescued played a part in motivating me for this painting as she was a street cat taking care of herself, and now she is the queen of the home.
“The other cats don’t tinker her and appreciate her, she’s really independent and scrappy, really caring to us human beings and likewise so stunning.
“And that led me to consider and take motivation from street cats and why I picked to paint matted fur however make it elegant.
“I wished to attempt and catch a various viewpoint of a scrappy cat that was an abnormal colour and goddess like in order to detach from status and types.
“While thinking of how I desired the cat to look unique and unearthly I considered the frame of mind of the ancient Egyptians and how they saw cats, which is why I chose to have gold in the piece too.”

Zara, who is a mechanical engineering apprentice, took a trip of the Wrexham Adoption Centre when she turned over her painting, and had the ability to how see money raised from the auction will go towards assisting the cats and kittens in care.
Cats Protection’s Operations Manager, Vicki Small, said: “We are so grateful to Zara for gifting us this painting. She is such a gifted artist and anybody would be lucky to win this distinct art piece.
“Money raised from the raffle will go a long way to helping the cats and kittens in our care, some of which have not had a great start in life and require medical treatment and a great deal of attention to ensure they are ready to start their new lives with their adopted families.”
