UK Charity Funds Animal Ambulance for Pangolins, Orangutans and Sun Bears in Indonesia

A British animal welfare charity has introduced the 2023 winners of their just lately elevated World Animal Day grant.

A British animal welfare charity has introduced the 2023 winners of their just lately elevated World Animal Day grant. Jakarta Animal Aid Network (JAAN) in Indonesia will obtain much-needed funds from Gloucestershire-based Naturewatch Foundation to buy a cell veterinary clinic.

Two different candidates will obtain smaller awards from the improved grant this 12 months:

  • Cape Animal Welfare Forum in South Africa will run a compassion fatigue workshop for animal welfare staff from their 58 member organisations.
  • Swaziland Animal Welfare Society will distribute 10,000 instructional leaflets, itemizing tips on how to correctly look after animals, in rural areas the place residents have little to no consciousness on the difficulty.
