Two budgies have been found deserted by a charity clothes financial institution in Midlothian.
The birds had been discovered by a member of the general public in Cameron Crescent, Bonnyrigg on Thursday November 2.
They had been found in a cage that was coated by a plastic bag after the person heard chirping close to a clothes financial institution.
The budgies had been taken to a close-by vet the place certainly one of them later died.
The remaining budgie is being cared for at one of many Scottish SPCA’s animal rescue and rehoming centres.
Senior Inspector Jenny Scott mentioned, “The budgies had been present in a tiny cage coated with a plastic bag. They had been left beside a charity clothes bin in chilly and wet circumstances with no meals or water.
“Thankfully a member of the general public discovered them mid-morning and took them to a close-by vet. However, sadly one of many budgies later died.
“We admire that whoever left the budgies might have meant for them to be discovered however this isn’t the proper approach to surrender a pet in the event you can now not look after them.
