The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County is partnering with Best Friends Animal Society, a number one animal welfare organization, for the sixth National Adoption Weekend taking place Sept.15-17. Adopters can title their worth when adopting an grownup canine, grownup cat, or critter throughout the weekend-long occasion.
Best Friends Animal Society has joined along with greater than 500 shelter and rescue companions for the nationwide occasion to assist alleviate overcapacity challenges shelters throughout the nation are going through.
With the organization’s assist, the weekend-long adoption promotion on the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County will join neighborhood members with their native animal shelter and encourage pet adoption.
“We have hundreds of dogs, cats, and critters at the shelter and more in foster homes,” says Leslie Dalzell, chief govt officer of the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County. “We are really excited to team up with Best Friends to find them all loving homes this weekend.”
The adoption occasion will happen Sept. 15-17 on the shelter situated on 2608 Center Street throughout the shelter’s business hours, 11:00 am-5:30 pm.
