A teen remains in medical facility after being stabbed in the leg.
An 18-year-old man was assaulted in West Thorpe, off Clickett Hill, Basildon, right before 2am today.
Officers are examining the occurrence which saw the victim sustain a stab injury to his leg for which he was transferred to medical facility.
An Essex Police spokesperson said: “Detectives are looking for anyone with information about an assault in Basildon which left a man with a stab wound to come forward.

“It was reported the victim, who’s 18, was attacked in West Thorpe, Basildon, shortly before 1.50am today.
“He has sustained an injury to his leg and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
“Officers from Basildon CID are investigating and their inquiries are ongoing.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote the crime reference number 42/90220/23.”
