A pair who left their elderly canine alone whereas they went on vacation have been given suspended jail sentences.

Keith Byrne, 38, and 42-year-old Sophie Singer left their boxer Bentley of their home in Eastbourne, East Sussex, whereas they went on a household vacation at a Centre Parc.

The canine was rescued by RSPCA inspectors known as by neighbours, however a vet was unable to save lots of the animal.
