Student veterinary nurse honours dogs in her care as she runs metric half marathon

Nancy Foster, who lives in Albrighton, is learning veterinary nursing at Wolverhampton PDSA Pet Hospital – People’s Disciplinary for Sick Animals.

The 27-year-old mentioned she has seen first-hand the affect PDSA has on households within the metropolis and wished to do one thing to provide again.

Nancy has simply taken half within the half marathon occasion final Sunday – a 13.1km problem – in honour of the pets in her care.

She mentioned: “Every day I see the superb affect that PDSA has on pets in want and their households and I couldn’t be prouder to work right here.

Nancy’s ran alongside her husband, Josh Foster, 28, who went wearing veterinary scrubs, and father in legislation, Trev Foster, 53, who dressed as Scooby Doo.

Nancy and Josh have a white German Shepherd known as Finley who they rescued when he was simply two years old.
