Whilst we were on holiday in Alanya, Antalya, Turkey we seen that there are lots of cat boxes that were specially made for the street cats. This made us look at who made them and who feeds them daily as they alwayshave fresh food and water.
Although we didn’t find out who set us we cat homes around alanya we discovered Strays Of Alanya. We went there for the day to volunteer and we met some great people who look after the animals to ahigh standard. The shelter is kept clean and is a great environment for the animals.
Strays Of Alanya rescue provides a temporary sanctuary for over 150 animals, all receiving care, food, medicines and socialisation before rehoming or release. We are doing all we can to make them healthy again, giving them the love they need while they wait for their forever homes.
Strays of Alanya is an animal rescue focused on saving mistreated, neglected and vulnerable animals, young and old, that would not stand a chance in life without help.
They are run by a small team of passionate volunteers and funded entirely by private donations. Every gift, no matter how small, makes a huge difference.
