Peet, 50, and Paulson have been best buddies since starring together for two seasons on The WB series Jack & Jill, which premiered back in September 1999.

The friendship between the two stars was recently showcased in People’s Beautiful Issue that hit newsstands in April.

‘It’s one of the longest [friendships] of my life,’ Paulson said of their relationship. ‘I find it incredibly grounding, but also wildly chaotic in the most fun way possible.’

The two ladies are so close that Paulson was actually in the delivery room when Peet gave birth to her daughter Frances Pen Friedman.

“It was very wild, and very, very poignant,’ Paulson said of the birth, adding, ‘And now she’s a 15-year-old person walking around.’

Peet chimed in: ‘I get street cred for being her friend, from my daughter.’

Paw Works, a no-kill nonprofit animal rescue based in Southern California, partners with county and city shelters to give abandoned animals a second chance at life.

Through pet adoption and community programs, the organization focuses on responsible pet ownership and solutions that address animal overpopulation and abandonment.

Like many non-profits animal rescues, Paw Works depends on foster families to temporarily care for the growing number of rescued dogs and cats as they wait for forever homes.
