The RSPCA Worcester and Mid Worcestershire cannot take in anymore animals after being swamped with cats.
Nine cats and kittens shown up on the very first day of June alone, with 34 arrivals throughout the month of May.
Claire Wood, a volunteer at the Holdings in Kemspey, said: “Every day we are getting calls from individuals asking us to take in animals, a number of them cats with new-born kittens as unfortunately individuals are still not sterilizing their animals.

She included: “We’re just on the first day of June and we have actually already taken in 9 cats, 3 of them wanders off.
“None of them were neutered or cracked and one was experiencing an extreme ear infection, plus we had a mum and her infants who were abandoned in a sealed box, so they are lucky to have actually made it through!
