Inspectors from the animal rescue charity attended an deal with following issues for welfare. When inspectors visited the property they discovered 40 cats in “poor condition” and “very dirty”.
During the search, they discovered one cat had given start to kittens within a settee.
The RSPCA Wirral and Chester department is now serving to to look after and rehome a number of the rescued cats.
Posting on social media the RSPCA Wirral department stated: “These are simply a number of the 40 cats rescued by the inspectors from the identical home. We have taken most of them and the remaining cats have gone to different RSPCA’s centres.
“They have come from essentially the most squalid circumstances, and fairly understandably some are very timid and untrusting. They had been all in poor situation and really soiled. Poor Molly gave start to her kittens inside a settee.
“They all look a million dollars now having received lots of TLC over the last couple of months. Some remain very timid, and they will need experienced homes where they will be allowed to settle down and learn to trust us humans who have treated them so poorly.”
An RSPCA spokesperson advised the Globe: “The RSPCA worked with the owner to remove 40 cats from an address following concerns for their welfare. All of them are now in the charity’s care and will be rehomed once they are returned to full health.”
