The Jack Russell terriers Shiloh and Shadow are friends and are presently remaining at Newport’s RSPCA Animal Centre due to their owner being not able to deal with their requirements.

RSPCA deputy centre supervisor Kath Logan said: “Both dogs, in spite of being 11, are still complete of life, energetic and take pleasure in strolls and playtime. They truly are so close and will snuggle in the bed together.

“Shiloh is a charming lady that enjoys her cuddles and playing bring in our paddock location, she takes pleasure in keeping hectic and likes attention.

“Shadow is a little bit more laid back. He likes his cuddles and will simply sit with you and enjoy your business.

“They are both wonderful dogs and we really hope we can find a forever home for them soon. We know there is someone out there that will make Shiloh and Shadow as happy as they are as happy with each other.”

The duo are trying to find an owner who is home for most of the day. They might cope with older aged kids and would choose not to cope with a cat.

Ms Logan included: “Shiloh came into our care with a skin condition but since she has been having medicated baths she is looking a lot better now but may need to continue her medication for preventative measures.”
