The foal has been named Sprout by rescuers

He was discovered within the Nantyglo space and was taken into RSPCA care on Tuesday 19 December.

The 4/5 month colt was present in a poor situation and was not microchipped – so an proprietor had not been positioned.

RSPCA inspector Christine McNeil stated: “Unfortunately as he’s not chipped we have now not discovered an proprietor and we are actually hoping an enchantment for info might be able to assist with our enquiries.

“If anyone has any first-hand information that will help our enquiries please do get in touch and call us via 0300 123 8018, quoting 1197723.”

The foal has been taken into RSPCA and has been named Sprout.
