A CHARITY has actually provided an immediate appeal for volunteers so it can continue to money the essential work of an Essex pet healthcare facility.
The UK’s leading veterinarian charity, PDSA, is contacting kind-hearted individuals who wish to support its life-saving work by providing an assisting hand at its Colchester shop.
The website, in Long Wyre Street, assists to money essential veterinary work throughout PDSA’s 48 family pet medical facilities, consisting of Basildon Pet Hospital, which looks after countless family pets every year.
Shop supervisor Sam Shaw said: “The success of PDSA charity shops is all down to our amazing team of volunteers.

Across the UK, consisting of Colchester, the PDSA take advantage of a network of more than 3,000 dedicated volunteers.
By committing their spare time to assisting the cause, their generous efforts conserve the charity more than £4 million a year.
