Pigeon fanciers have actually raised £400 for the Lake District Mountain Rescue Search Dog Association.
It come from with the Ladies’ charity stall at the yearly Blackpool Show which raised £610 for regional charitable causes.
The stall was run by Meryl Blacklock (Cumbria) and Carol Gardener (Wales) and it was concurred that the quantity would be divided similarly in between Cumbria and Wales.
