Pets charity receives £2,500 donation from Cambridgeshire homebuilder

On International Dog Day (twenty sixth August 2023), the developer launched a pet-friendly video about Alfie, the Cockapoo, who explores Wintringham’s 46 acres of inexperienced open area, play parks, 9 kilometres of uninterrupted cycle and walking routes, in addition to the historic market city of St Neots.

In line with the launch of the video, the developer pledged to donate £100 to Woodgreen for each home reserved on the growth till the tip of 2023, which resulted in a complete of £2,500.

Woodgreen, based mostly in Godmanchester, has practically 100 years of expertise in rehabilitating pets and offering knowledgeable recommendation and hands-on help locally.

Amy Shaw, Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager at Woodgreen, mentioned: “We want all pets to live the best possible life, and we do everything we can to make that a reality – every step of the way.

“It was fantastic news to hear about the donation from Barratt and David Wilson Homes. As a charity, donations are so important to ensure that Woodgreen can continue to be there for pets and their people. This donation is a big help in supporting us to achieve this mission.

“Woodgreen relies entirely on donations to fund our work so we can continue to offer the expert care that vulnerable pets need for a second chance at happiness.

We hope that this video of Alfie exploring Wintringham will help prospective buyers see how much is on offer for both humans and our furry friends.

Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes at Wintringham presents a spread of facilities on the doorstep, with a model new main faculty for the rising neighborhood already on the event, in addition to a nursery, well being centre and stores coming quickly.
