Elizabeth (Liz/Betty) Louise Nicholson acquired her heavenly wings on October 30, 2022. She was born in Muskogee, Okla., on April 25, 1926, to James E and Cordilia Anthis. She was 96 years previous on the time of her passing. Liz resided at Primrose Assisted Dwelling in Rogers, Ark.
Elizabeth graduated from Lamar Excessive College in Houston, Texas. After commencement, she went to the College of Houston to pursue a level in chemistry. Afterward, Liz went to work at Southwestern Bell. She was a real trailblazer as she was one of many first ladies to take a “man’s job” with the corporate which required climbing a ladder and soldering wires within the workplace to attach telephones to houses. She was a pioneer amongst ladies and a member of Unity Church.
Liz is preceded in dying by her husbands, James S. Nicholson, Sr. (divorced), and Jesse Layton Boone.
Liz is survived by her adoring daughter, Patricia Ann Nicholson Bailey (Frank) of Bentonville; son, James S. Nicholson, Jr. (Linda) of Choctaw, Okla.; in addition to her three grandchildren, Scott Nicholson (Paula), Laurie Nicholson, and Kristi Nicholson (Zack Newbrey). Liz was blessed with 9 great-grandchildren.
She can be survived by her 4 loving caretakers who had been like household, Teresa (Queenie) Anderson, Lacey West, Cassie Gonzalez, Annette Harmon, and too many fantastic nurses, pals, and different caregivers to say. Liz liked Emery West like a great-grandchild, however the particular love of her life was her lovely tuxedo cat, Fortunate.
We are going to miss this glowing, robust, impartial lady who all the time dressed to the nines and wore a shiny smile on her face. She could also be gone however she’s going to by no means be forgotten.
A celebration of life shall be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Callison-Lough Funeral Residence, 605 W Central Ave., Bentonville, Ark.
