“We cover the BT41-BT44, and BT51-BT57 areas so we are recruiting in this area particularly for fosterers, but we do also have other volunteer roles available.”

The spokesperson continued: “We provide full training, expenses and support for our volunteers in all roles so you don’t need to be an expert, and it should not cost anyone to volunteer for us.
“Fostering is an ideal role if, long term, you cannot commit to a pet but can enjoy caring temporarily for cats and kittens knowing they will get great homes. We are a very small but dedicated group, and would love to have more cat loving people join our team.
“We would encourage anyone outside our postcode areas to still get in touch, as we can point anyone interested outside our branch area to the branch that covers their area.”
