The charity, which started in 1824, shared the spectacular rehoming figures to mark its two hundredth birthday in 2024.
And, because the RSPCA enters its landmark anniversary yr, the charity needs to encourage a one million-strong motion for animals with the purpose to “create a greater world for each animal”.
The latest figures from the RSPCA present that within the 10 years up till the tip of 2022, these centres have discovered new houses for 10,318 animals.
Nationally, the charity has rehomed 405,839 pets in want of a brand new home since 2013 due to its community of 140 branches – which equates to 111 animals daily.
But the RSPCA was pressured to launch an pressing enchantment final yr after dealing with what it described as its “largest rehoming challenge in years”.

Dermot Murphy, RSPCA inspectorate commissioner, mentioned: “We have even more animals in need of help coming into our care – but at the same time rehoming has been declining sharply, meaning thousands fewer rescue pets are being adopted and our branches and centres are full to bursting.
“But we are determined to rise to the challenge and help animals and pet owners who need us more than ever.
“In our 200th year we want to inspire one million people to join our movement to improve animals’ lives.
“We’ve been changing industries, laws, minds, and animals’ lives for 200 years. Together, there are actions, big and small, we can take to create a better world for every animal.”
