Mary Jo Noonan died on April 5, 2023, at her home in Chattanooga.  She was born to John and Marion Egly (Dowling) in Louisville, Kentucky, on March 17, 1945.  Surviving her are her siblings John Egly (Steffi) and Tom Egly (Lyssa), her boy D. Vance Noonan, Jr (Lily), her child Mary Katherine “Katie” Noonan, and 5 grandchildren. 
Mary Jo relocated to Chattanooga in 1979. She delighted in spending quality time at the hang-gliding park, oil painting, feeding the wild birds who would visit her home neglecting the lake, and offering. 
She was a volunteer with numerous groups, consisting of Pet Placement Center of Chattanooga, St Jude School, Chattanooga Arboretum and Nature Center, and for a number of years, she assisted run the Northeast Florida Eagle Cam for the American Eagle Foundation.
 Family and pals will collect on Thursday, April 13 from 3:30pm – 5:00pm for a remembrance at the clubhouse at The Reserve at Lakeshore (5840 Lake Resort Terr, Chattanooga).  Interment services will be personal 
In lieu of flowers, the family demands contributions to Pet Placement of Chattanooga or your preferred animal charity.
