CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Laramie Animal Welfare Society is asking for group assist to supply plastic doghouses for canines on the Wind River Reservation in Riverton amid dropping temperatures.
With the onset of frigid climate, LAWS and Friends of Yola’s Pet Rescue are coordinating efforts to gather and distribute plastic doghouses. This initiative goals to supply shelter to as many dogs as potential, addressing the pressing wants of pets dealing with harsh winter situations, based on the request for donations by LAWS.
Residents with spare plastic doghouses are inspired to donate. Those can contact LAWS for instructions to the designated drop-off space in Laramie. Currently, there are not any donation places in Cheyenne.
Yola’s Pet Rescue is dedicated to transferring and fostering undesirable pets from the Wind River Reservation. Many pets within the space undergo from hunger, publicity to excessive climate or lack of care, based on the organization’s social media web page.
