FAST CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Pass the “pup-kin” pie this Thanksgiving due to the fact that Bar K-9 in Uptown Rapid is having its 3rd yearly Petsgiving supply drive!
The drive is set to go from Nov. 5 through Nov. 30 at the Bar K-9 Indoor Dog Park and Bar. The objective of the drive is to assist Border Paws Dog Rescue by providing them with goodies and other animal products for the Thanksgiving season. According to the Bar K-9 co-owner, the factor they are doing this for the 3rd year is that often shelters are non-profits, so it depends on the neighborhood to assist them out.
” These non-profits aren’t getting the earnings that, you understand, another person might,” stated Bar K-9 Indoor Dog Park and Bar co-owner Emily Batman, “So, they’re counting on us and they’re counting on individuals in the neighborhood to keep them going and assist these pets that are trying to find their permanently houses.”
