Starting on Wednesday, Nov. 1 till Thursday, Nov. 30, dogs and cats which can be over the age of 10 on the Berks and Lancaster County adoption facilities shall be free to secure, loving properties. Lancaster Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical will cowl the cost of senior pet adoption charges. “Lancaster Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, & Electrical is supporting this effort because we believe in giving back to the community and are passionate about animal welfare,” stated LHP Managing Partner, Jenna Kaufman. “We see this event as an opportunity to promote the benefits of pet adoption and build a stronger, more passionate community. Pets bring immense joy and companionship to our lives, and we want to facilitate the process of providing them with a loving home.”
Adopters wishing to supply a without end home for a senior shelter pet are inspired to go to the shelter campuses or HumanePA.org. All potential adopters are required to undergo Humane Pennsylvania’s diligent adoption screening course of (approval just isn’t assured).
Adoptions embody:
- Humane Pennsylvania’s 30-day Adoption Health Supplement.
- Spaying or neutering (earlier than adoption).
