Fundraiser for LauraLynn Children’s Hospice and Dogs Trust Ireland
Since the night of the ‘Women in Aviation’ fundraiser on August 31, which raised €2465 (complete €5600), the Mullingar fundraising flyers, Capt Paddy and Lucky, have been on an journey of a lifetime.
They visited the Mourne Flying Club Fly-In BBQ with Brendan Digney and Mark Chambers and loved assembly pilots from throughout Ireland, together with some old associates that that they had beforehand flown with.
Paddy and Lucky had been invited to see the gathering of the Ulster Aviation Society, at Maze Long Kesh outdoors Lisburn – they usually dropped in through helicopter (an R44 G-DKNY, in photograph above). Their host, Leonard Craig, met them and confirmed them across the assortment.
