NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE)– Firemens saved a senior female and her dog from a fire at a multi-family house in New Bedford Tuesday afternoon.
The fire broke out simply after 3 p.m. at the three-family house on Union Street.
Chief James Fortin stated flames were seen originating from the 2nd flooring.
Next-door neighbors informed firemens that the female remained in the structure. She was dealt with at the scene.
The reason for the fire was figured out to be unintentional. No homeowners were displaced by the fire.
