The Big Dog Art Trail has reached an thrilling milestone as the ultimate artists and their Swindog designs have been chosen.

At the tip of final 12 months greater than 200 designs have been shortlisted to 60 and now the ultimate 30 designs have been chosen.

A pack of 30 Swindogs – bigger than life balloon canine sculptures – are set to be unleashed throughout Swindon through the summer time of 2023. 

The uniquely adorned sculptures will create the UK’s first-ever balloon canine artwork path and can increase important funds for native youngsters’s hospice charity Julia’s House.

The last checklist contains artists from Swindon, and almost a 3rd are from the South West.  Among them are Judy and Morgan Guillery, a mum and son duo from Mouldon View in Swindon. 

Judy runs Judee Tree Art and has been concerned in varied artwork initiatives in Swindon. She likes to incorporate typography in her artwork work together with a optimistic message.

The occasion was additionally attended by Julia’s House Patron Annabel Karmel MBE, a sponsor who can be supporting the path all year long, and Swindon artist Hannah Dosanjh, who designed the primary Swindog.

The Swindog designs are being stored below wraps for now and so they’ll be unveiled in the summertime.
