Called Losing Us, the movie will symbolize Norfolk on the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival, which is a qualifying occasion for the Oscars.

The story follows a mum who flees her home nation along with her two youngsters to make a brand new life within the UK. 

Filming places included the Bircham Centre in Reepham, Johnson’s of Reepham store, Eves Hill Farm in Booton, Easton and Otley College, Cawston play park and Reepham’s Market Place.

The movie’s world premiere took place in September on the International Human Rights Festival in Albania.
