Fourteen animal pictures taken by proficient children aged from six to 18 have been shortlisted for the RSPCA’s pictures competitors and the winner shall be determined by votes solid on-line by members of the general public.
Lily Logan, aged 13, from East Yorkshire, has been shortlisted for her picture of her canine Rupert having fun with a nap. Titled ‘Dreamy Dally’ the picture reveals Dalmatian Rupert deep in sleep.
Lily stated: “This photo stands out to me because it shows his big nose and cute personality!”
In December final yr, the general winners of the RSPCA Young Photographer Awards 2023 have been introduced after being judged by a panel of photographic specialists together with RSPCA president Chris Packham and trade professionals.
Part two of the competitors, the People’s Choice Award, is now dwell (March 2024). The winner of the RSPCA Young Photographer Awards People’s Choice class will obtain £100 value of Amazon vouchers and an RSPCA Young Photographer Awards trophy.
The winner shall be introduced on the RSPCA’s Facebook web page on Thursday, March 14.
Entries for the primary RSPCA Young Photographer Awards 2024 will open on Tuesday, May 7.
