Work required to win reaccreditation for the East Dundee Police Department’s through the Illinois Law Enforcement Accreditation Program began today, authorities said.
The evaluation will take a look at every element of the department’s policies and treatments, management, operations and assistance services, according to a town press release.
The department received its preliminary state accreditation in 2019, and should go through the assessment procedure every 4 years in order to maintain it, the release said. Nearly 70 locations should satisfy or surpass the state program’s requirements or requirements.
