Dogs Trust Raise Concerns After Tragic Start To 2024

Despite an enormous effort by the staff and the vets at Dogs Trust sadly solely two puppies have been saved from the pack.

Speaking in regards to the incident Veterinary and Welfare supervisor at Dogs Trust, Niamh Curran Kelly stated ‘Cases like this are extremely upsetting for everybody concerned. At simply 4 weeks old, puppies are nonetheless closely depending on their mom and would not be totally weaned but. They have been far too young to be separated from her, not to mention to have been left exterior within the chilly and rain.’

She went on to say ‘Despite receiving the perfect care, we have been saddened that solely two of the puppies have survived this ordeal. Thankfully, these two little fighters are thriving, and each have not too long ago been adopted.’
