Korg is a pup who has sadly not had a good start in life. A spokesperson for Arundawn said:

Are you fascinated about welcoming a pooch into your loved ones?

Arundawn Rescue, situated close to Horsham, has many dogs in its care hoping to search out houses of their very own.

Take a glance under to see if any of them would make an excellent match.

Chewy is looking for an active home with at least one other dog where he can get the exercise and mental stimulation that his breed needs. He needs canine companionship as he will not settle without having that security. Arundawn has said he is very sweet but has not been tested with children so can only be rehomed with teenagers or adults. He has not been tested with cats. (Photo: Arundawn)

To enquire about adopting, go to the rescue’s website and full a pre-application type.

Zero is a lovely, well-trained and friendly boy who has been a family dog all his life and has lived with other dogs and cats. He recently lost his mum and has become unsure around the other two male dogs in the house. He will need a calm environment with someone who has collie experience and who is around most of the time to give him the exercise and attention his breed needs. He would prefer to live with female dogs and has no issues with cats. (Photo: Arundawn)

Charlie is a delightful boy who is looking for a home with a good-sized garden, preferably by himself or with a female companion. He has previously lived as a family dog and is houstrained. He walks well on the lead and is friendly when meeting new people. Arundawn said he can be quite talkative and loves to be included in anything interesting! His recall is selective so this needs to be kept in mind on walks. He would do best free running in a secure field as he loves his zoomies! (Photo: Arundawn)

Bran was a part of a litter born at Arundawn and has lived at the sanctuary since he was born. He is doing really well living with almost 20 other dogs of all ages and breed and has easily slotted into the pack structure. Arundawn has described him as 'an all round sweetheart'. He will need at least one other dog in the house and access to a garden to run around in. (Photo: Arundawn)

Daphne is looking for a family home with at least one other dog, with a calm but playful temperament, and with a good-sized garden to play in. She is an active, high energy girl who loves other canines and is good with children. She is a bit shy around new people and can be skittish when encountering something new so, she would best be suited to a home in the countryside with someone who's willing to work on her confidence and ongoing training. Arundawn has said 'Monty is one of those dogs that come into rescue and just breaks our hearts'. The Rottweiler cross Dobermann had not been walked in two years, had become overweight and was terrified of the outdoors. However, after spending time in his foster home he has become 'a complete cuddlebug' and, despite his size, believes he can fit in your lap. He loves playing fetch and has lost all the excess weight he had when he first arrived so is looking very sleek and healthy. Monty is walked with a muzzle as he is still reactive to other dogs so cannot be rehomed with any other pets, and will need to be adopted by someone who is capable of walking him due to his strength on the lead. He is also still quite anxious when going outside so this will need to be worked on, and also means he would like to find a home in a very quiet and rural location. He can live with children older than 12. (Photo: Arundawn)

Nellie is a lovely, calm and easy going girl. She loves people and is gentle and affectionate. She enjoys playing with other dogs and ideally would benefit from the company of another dog in the home as she has some separation anxiety if left alone. She may be best suited to living with a calm male dog. Arundawn said Nellie is eating well on a raw diet and her favourites treats are bananas, carrots, peanut butter and pate. She has been lightly ‘tested’ around children and seems happy in their presence – even if children are running around in parks, she doesn't seem to show interest. She does show interest in cats so will not be homed with any small animals. (Photo: Arundawn)

Rubble is a big boy but has proven to be a very steady and endearing character, Arundawn has said. He can live with children, cats and dogs and is also good around horses. He is calm around people and can be a bit inquisitive. Arundawn said his only 'fault' is that he needs someone around most of the time as he gets distressed when left on his own for too long. He must be rehomed with at least one other dog as he gets a lot of confidence and reassurance from having a friend. (Photo: Arundawn)

Arundawn said Meg, like her sister, Nutmeg, has led a very sheltered life to date, having never left the premises she was born on. She has lived with her litter mates all her life and so must have the company of another dog in her new home. She is currently in kennels and is looking for foster with a view to adoption. She cannot live with children, cats or small animals as she has not been tested around them. (Photo: Arundawn)

Spirit is a 'stunning' Saluki who is looking for a foster home with potential to become a forever home. She is quite shut down at the moment and very quiet. She is looking for a calm and gentle home with owners who can work through her nervousness. She cannot live with small children, cats or small animals as she has not been tested around them. (Photo: Arundawn)

Bungle is looking for a foster home where he can be assessed to determine what type of home will be best for the sweet boy. He will need a family home with a garden as he loves his zoomies and someone around most of the time as he loves being with people. He has had limited testing with other dogs - at the moment he's a bit too overwhelmed by the kennel environment to be tested properly, so he needs a pet-free home until he can settle and be neutered. Arundawn said he is still very much a puppy as, despite being fully-grown, he is still young in his behaviour. He has not been tested with cats or other small animals. (Photo: Arundawn)

Bonnie is a sweet girl who has lived a very sheltered life. She must be rehomed with at least one other friendly dog as she needs someone to show her the ropes in a family home and give her confidence to explore the world. Arundawn is looking for a foster carer, with a view to adopt, who has a good-sized garden and a family willing to help with training. She has not been tested with children, cats or small animals. (Photo: Arundawn)

Mavis has lived a very sheltered life, having never left her former owner's property since she was born - she is understandably a bit nervous and shy. She has not been housetrained and has spent her whole life with her sister. She does not need to be rehomed with her sister but will need to have at least one other dog for company and confidence in her new home. Arundawn said she is a very sweet girl and needs a chance to shine. (Photo: Arundawn)

Lottie is a sweet and very shy dog who needs the company of at least one other canine to show her the ropes in her new home. Arundawn is looking for a foster home, with a view to adopt, that can work with Lottie on housetraining and socialisation as she has lived a very sheltered life up to this point. While she is shy and a bit unsure, she is showing a lovely temperament and just needs a bit of security and consistency to help her explore the wider world. She has not yet been assessed with children, cats or other small animals. (Photo: Arundawn)

Frankie is a 'dear mature gent' who is looking for a foster or forever home. Arundawn said he is quite anxious at the moment so the sooner he finds somewhere to settle the better. He is friendly with other dogs and could share a home with a canine companion, as well as older children. However he has not been tested with cats or small animals. (Photo: Arundawn)

Tasha's foster carer has described her as 'an amazing little dog'. She enjoys gentle walks and is well-behaved around other dogs. She is child-friendly so would do well in a family environment, and is not food or toy possessive. She does have separation anxiety though and will need someone around most of the time until she settles. Despite being fine around dogs, she can also be indifferent to them so would be happy as the only pup at home. (Photo: Arundawn)

Elanor is a lively and fun dog who is looking for a home with another like-minded friend. Arundawn has described her as a clever little girl. She is looking for a home without cats or small animals, and can live with children over eight. (Photo: Arundawn)

Elanor is a full of life and enjoyable canine who’s in search of a home with one other like-minded good friend. Arundawn has described her as a intelligent little woman. She is in search of a home with out cats or small animals, and may stay with youngsters over eight. (Photo: Arundawn)

Luna is one of four dogs who were sadly dumped in a field. She had never worn a lead before arriving at the charity and was 'terrified of her own shadow'. However, with some time in foster she has gained confidence and the charity said she has 'proven to be a bit of a minx!' She is looking for a family with time and patience to train and exercise her. She cannot live with cats or small animals, but will benefit from the company of another tolerant dog as she can push boundaries. Luna also loves to play and 'adores' children. The charity said:

Bilbo was relinquished by his owner and had lots of pent up energy and frustration on arrival at Arundawn. The charity has been working on this and he is becoming an 'amazing' dog. One of the charity's volunteers has been working with him, taking him out, walking locally and spending time learning about his needs. He is still only young but is strong and needs further lead training. He loves his toys and really responds well to positive reinforcement, training and clear boundaries - he has loads of potential and is thriving in a structured and organised environment. Arundawn has recommended that anyone interested in Bilbo visits him at the kennels a few times to get to know him and to introduce any resident dogs. He cannot live with children, cats or small animals. (Photo: Arundawn)

Frida is a young, deaf, American Bulldog who was sadly 'dumped' and is now residing in a council pound facility. Arundawn is looking for a foster carer who can take Frida in.She is responding well to hand signals and needs a carer with the skills, time and patience she needs - ideally someone with experience of caring for a deaf dog. She would also best suit a home with another, hearing, dog to offer her company and guidance. She is not assessed with children so cannot live with anyone aged under 16. (Photo: Arundawn)

Felix is 'an absolute sweetheart' who is looking for his forever home. He will need an active home with at least one other dog. His foster carer said there will be a settling in period 'where he comes to terms with his environment' but the result will be 'well worth it'. He is a big loveable lump who walks well on the lead but you will also need to be able to control him if a squirrel or cat is seen! Ideally he would be suited to an active household (as he loves long walks) where someone is about most of the time.
