A tiny puppy no greater than his rescuer’s hand was discovered dumped in a Morrisons provider bag.
Patch was found in Dartford earlier than being rushed to the vet by South East Dog Rescue.
Kymm White, a spokesman for the organisation stated: “Little Patch was found alongside his sibling who had already died when he was around three weeks of age on August 23.
“He then spent two weeks at the vet where he was under around-the-clock care.
“He’s back at the vets today for investigation on a new skin issue but is otherwise doing brilliantly.”
Patch is recovering from a parasite infestation, coccidia, and anaemia, a situation the place a scarcity of iron within the physique results in a discount within the variety of purple blood cells.
Kymm added: “Patch, who is now seven weeks old, does have a skin condition which is being investigated and he will be off to his forever home once he is 100% healthy.
“He does have a home lined up once he’s ready but is staying at home with me until then.”
